The Ultraman Special Armband (スペシュウムバンド) is an accessory controller that is compatible with the Infrared Rays receiver on the Playdia console.[1]

Deluxe box with controller
The armband was included with the deluxe edition of Ultraman: Hiragana Mission (ウルトラマンひらがな大作戦). The controller is worn on the forearm/wrist and is used as a teaching tool during gameplay.[2][3]

Ultraman: Hiragana Mission and the controller were developed by Bandai and released for the Playdia system in Japan on July 28, 1995.[4]
